Kansas-born electronic artist Nick Galemore has made a name for himself with his atmospheric blend of house and techno. A long-time Berlin local, Nick explores the emotional and often dramatic aspects of electronic music, captivating listeners with rich, lush soundscapes and elegant melodies laid out over deep and tactile percussion.
Nick’s deep seeded need to create would grow and ripen over a decade before discovering the infinite possibilities of electronic music. After many years of producing privately in his living room, his first release would land on Get Physical Music, a remix of Ornette’s ‘Crazy’, shoulder to shoulder with hit remixes from Nôze and Phonique.
Later that year his debut EP, Vorbote, on Kindisch would find its way into Maya Jane Coles 2013 BBC Essential Mix, alongside her hit ‘Everything feat. Karin Park’.
He then began DJ around the Berlin scene, bringing local clubs like Watergate, Chalet, Ritter Butzke, and Kosmonaut to a boil with his Live/DJ set blend, allowing remixing and editing of multiple tracks in real-time giving his sets a unique energy that always pulls a crowd.
Meanwhile he would team up with longtime friend Gregor Trierweiler to produce 2 EP’s for Kindisch, Orage and I’m Still Young… with both EP’s receiving great reviews and finding their way into the sets of acts like M.A.N.D.Y., John Digweed, Ruede Hagelstein, and many more.
Nick’s most recent release, Klinikum, marks his first release as a solo artist since Vorbote and has already made waves that are sure to crest in time. Tracks like ‘All Goes Wrong’ and ‘By Night’ are already receiving rotation in major DJ sets world-wide, including Booka Shade, M.A.N.D.Y. and more. He’s just finished his follow up EP to Klinikum and currently planning and curating his 100% original, exclusive live set, due late summer / fall 2015.
